Our Mission
We showcase accessible poetry, publishing an
eclectic mix of playful insights and serious commentary. All
genres, including prose poems
and short shorts, are accepted. Nothing overly sentimental or old-fashioned,
please. We DO have a quirky sense of humor
and are a bit soft-headed about river poems!
More than a magazine... UPDATED!
We feature samples from our print magazine on our online site. You may
also check out some poetry by the editors
(both published poets--really!) and some fellow
poets to get an idea of the kind of work we are seeking.
We are delighted that so many of our fine poets have several books to their
credit. Delighted in many ways.
One-- that so many people are reading and enjoying poetry. Two--that these "Dam
Fine" poets send their work to us.
Three--we can help promote their work even more by giving you the information on
our website!
Right now we will just be listing poets who have books that include work that
has been published
in Main Channel Voices. But as time allows, we will expand.

Submission Guidelines
Submission deadlines are 10/30, 1/30, 4/30 and 7/30.
All submissions arriving after a closing date will be considered for the next
issue.
We only accept electronic submissions.
Please submit a 2-3 sentence bio
and 3-5 poems pasted in the
body of your email
(NO email attachments will be opened)

All contributors will receive a copy of the issue in which their work appears.
All poems © of their authors & all rights revert upon publication (print
& on-line).
Permission is secured before any poems are posted on-line.
