We intend to be a showcase of accessible poetry, producing a publication that presents an eclectic mix of playful insights and serious commentary.  Space is a consideration, so please limit your poetry to 38 lines including blank lines.  All genres,  including prose poems and short shorts, are accepted, but please, nothing overly sentimental or old-fashioned; however, we DO have a quirky sense of humor and are a bit soft-headed about river poems!

Submission deadlines are 10/30, 1/30, 4/30 and 7/30.
All submissions arriving after a closing date will be considered for the next issue.

We only accept electronic submissions.  Please submit a 2-3 sentence bio and 3-5 poems pasted in the body of your email (NO email attachments will be opened) to: MCVsubmissions@mainchannelvoices.com  It would be nice if you included your snail mail address too, so we can send you your copy of our "dam fine" magazine should your poetry be showcased in an issue.

All contributors will receive a copy of the issue in which their work appears.

All poems © of their authors & all rights revert upon publication (print & on-line).  

Permission is secured before any poems are posted on-line.
